Wicked Ride
(The Wicked Horse Series Book #4)
Sawyer Bennett
Release Date: June 28, 2016

I think this woman may be the death of me. A dire prediction, but probably true. Probably true because she’s not mine to have and I’ll probably take her, even at the risk to my own safety. So many men slobbering to get a taste of her and only one, sweet, virginal girl to go around. That’s right. She’s a virgin. Looking like a porcelain china doll that would break if not handled carefully. But I also know she’s stronger than she looks. She’s a contradiction. She’s most likely my downfall. Like I said, she’ll probably be the death of me, but it’s a risk I’m willing to take.

**Warning: this book has sex in it. Lots of sex. Dirty sex. The Wicked Horse Series is a bit different than what Sawyer Bennett normally writes. While you’ll still enjoy fabulous characters, a suspenseful story, some witty banter and an epic romance, there’s just… a lot of sex. You’ve been warned.

Wicked Ride is the fourth book in The Wicked Horse series, but it was the first book I read in the series. Even though characters from the previous books were mentioned, Wicked Ride was easily read as a standalone erotic romance.

And it was very erotic. Honestly, I didn’t really have any idea what was to come when I started this book. I knew what the blurb told me. There was going to be a man who desperately wanted this strong but virginal young woman. What I didn’t expect was The Silo. What is The Silo, you ask? Well, it’s an exhibitionist sex club that our hero, Logan belongs to.

Logan is a man running from his demons. He’s found relief in fly fishing and a kinky sex club in a rural town. His relief comes to an end when a virginal beauty shows up at The Silo. He desperately wants her, but he knows she’s not his. Still, he can’t seem to get her out of his mind.

Auralie’s “owner” happily parades her around The Silo each night trying to catch the attention of the high rollers who will pay for innocent Auralie’s virginity. She may be a willing participant in the sale, but that doesn’t mean she’s happy about it. The one small light in the whole arrangement is the connection Auralie feels with a member of the private club. She knows he can see her feelings, but she also knows he wouldn’t be able to afford what she’s peddling.

Logan knows he should stay far away from the sweet Auralie, but he can’t help but get involved in her situation. The closer he gets to her, the more their lives may be at risk.

Wicked Ride was way more intense than I imagined it would be. Auralie’s situation was more dire than I expected and it kept me on edge the entire time. She was a strong woman with a desire to be better than her past. I admired her determination to make the best of her situation her determination, but I worried for both her and Logan.

Logan was a great character. He was involved in some kinky stuff, but he was looking for something to fulfill his losses. I loved how his feelings for Auralie helped him move forward. His self-discovery was slow, but kind of sweet.

Readers who enjoy intense, kinky romances filled with suspense will love Wicked Ride. There’s a lot of fun twists and turns to experience. It definitely enticed me to go back and read more of this erotic contemporary romance series.
