Top Ten Tuesday is an original weekly feature created by The Broke and the Bookish. This week’s theme is All About Audio freebie — aka top ten audiobooks you should listen to, 10 books I want to listen to on audio,10 bands you should check out, 10 podcasts you should be listening to, 10 of my all time favorite albums, 10 songs I love, really whatever you can come up with. I couldn’t decide which topic to pick, so I’m going to do a little bit of almost all of them.
Top Five Audiobooks I’ve Listened To:
Back when I drove 45 minutes to and from work, I used to listen to audiobooks I would pick up the the library. I loved it because I got to listen to books I might have never read. Plus, I found I actually like listening to audiobooks. Here are five of my favorites from that time.
- The Da Vinci Code by Dan Brown
- The Lovely Bones by Alice Sebold
- Magic Hour by Kristin Hannah
- Amber Beach by Elizabeth Lowell
- Fortune’s Rocks by Anita Shreve
Five Bands You Should Check Out:
Okay, so this one is going to be five bands that I like but people tend to not know who I’m talking about when I mention them. I’ve linked to one of their songs that I like.
Five of My All-Time Favorite Albums:
I have tons of albums I love, so I went with ones that immediately came to mind. They’re ones I reach for when I’m in a certain mood.
- X – Ed Sheeran
- Greatist Hits – The Cars
- Femme Fatale – Britney Spears
- 1989 – Taylor Swift
- Montevallo – Sam Hunt
Five Songs I Love Right Now:
These are five songs I would listen to on repeat right now.
- One Dance – Drake, Wizkid, Kyla
- The Right Song – Tiësto, Oliver Heldens, Natalie La Rose
- Make Me… – Britney Spears, G-Easy
- Think of You – Chris Young, Cassadee Pope
- Stay A Little Longer – Brothers Osborn
And there you have it. A little bit of everything Audio. 🙂
I like what you did with this week’s topic. The music you listed is mostly new to me. I’ve only listened to two books on audio and don’t remember either of them, which is why I don’t listen to books, lol.
Lol. That’s a good reason not to! And thank you!
Wow! That really is a little of everything audio.
My TTT!
Happy listening! 🙂
I love how you did a little of everything! I have to say, I like the Taylor Swift 1989 album, but I found I love the Ryan Adams cover of it even more. I haven’t read any of the audio books you listed (besides Da Vinci Code), I am going to check them out! Great list this week.
Here’s My TTT this week. 🙂
I’ve heard of the Ryan Adams cover, but haven’t listened to it. I might just have to do it now. Thanks!
i love how you did a little bit of everything! Fun!! My TTT
Thank you!
I love Taylor’s 1989 album! It’s so well-composed – perfect to listen to it on repeat. Femme Fatale is my favorite of Britney’s albums, it was so freakishly good and I felt like she showed something new, while not totally changing her style. I’m not IN LOVE with Glory, but Make Me.. is such a great song – it deserves more recognition!
Great list!! 🙂

You have great taste in music! 😉 Yeah, Glory is definitely hit or miss. 🙁 I need to listen to it some more to get a feel for what I really like off it but Make Me is definitely one of my favorites! 🙂 Thanks for stopping by!
I LOVE X and 1989! I watched Swift’s concert and absolutely, absolutely loved it – best concert I’ve ever been to, and I do tend to splurge a bit on those things. X I also had the chance to watch live but stupidly decided to pass on it… one of my life’s big regrets, oops.
I would LOVE to see Swift live. I’m just worried she wouldn’t live up to my expectations, but it sounds like I’m wrong. 😉 Yes, Ed was AMAZING live. I was so impressed! I would see him again in a heartbeat! I hope you get the chance.
BRITNEY FOREVER…Just had to say it 🙂 I usually only do nonfiction/memoir audiobooks because I tend to like the narrators better and if my mind wanders I don’t miss a huge plot point. I’m definitely going to have to start listening to them in my car now that my commute just got longer. Great List!
YES! BRITNEY FOREVER! 🙂 Thank you!
Yess, I have a bunch of music to check out 😀 I listened to Yellowclaw and really liked that song!
Yay! 🙂
Great lists!
I may try out one of your audiobook recommendations!
That would be awesome!
I really like what you did with this week’s topic 🙂 And Britney 😀 😀 I loved Britney Spears so much when I was between 8 and 12 😀 The walls of my room were almost completely covered in Britney posters 😀
Thank you so much! Yes, Britney has been a fave of mine ever since she came out. I was a little too old for the posters, but I totally get having them. 😉
Love this list. I love that you’ve got a bit of everything.
Thank you!
Love the Taylor Swift and Ed Sheeran albums!

They’re both so talented! Thanks for stopping by!
A little bit of everything is great for this week’s topic. I’m so out of the loop on music these days that most of these besides Britney Spears, Ed Sheeran and Taylor Swift mean nothing to me. (oh and The Cars) Shame on me.
Hey, at least you know the good ones! The rest are kind of obscure. 😉
