WWW Wednesday: April 19, 2017

Welcome to WWW Wednesday! This meme was formerly hosted by MizB at Should be Reading but is now hosted by Sam @ Taking on a World of Words.

The Three W’s are:

What are you currently reading?
What did you recently finish reading?
What do you think you’ll read next?

So here we go…

Currently reading:

I’m reading The Butterfly Project right now. I also started reading a physical ARC of We Are Never Meeting in Real Life. I’m enjoying both so far.

Recently finished:

How did I read so many books last week? Well, let me tell you all about it. Last Tuesday I had my gallbladder removed, so basically sat on my butt reading for the last week. That’s the only reason I’ve been able to read so many books in a week. (Trust me, I’d rather not have been able to read that many. LOL) I’ve been trying to hit my NetGalley ARCs hard and get some of them out of the way. Here’s what I read:

Shacking Up
Finding You (Destination Love, #4)
Wrong Turn, Right Direction (The Bourbon Street Boys, #4)
The Playboy Bachelor (The Bachelors of Arizona, #2)
Joy Ride
Buns (Hudson Valley, #3)
180 Seconds
Until You (Bachelor Brotherhood, #2)

Click on the book titles to read the reviews that I have already posted.

Reading Next:

I need to pick up Aftercare Instructions next. I won it on Goodreads a while ago, and really need to get to it.

  1. Is BUNS out yet???? O.o
And I have The Butterfly Project on my soon-to-read list since I got approved for an ARC on Netgalley but other books keep getting in the way. I’m looking forward to reading what you thought of it 🙂 Emma Scott sure knows how to twist my heart strings.

    1. No, but I think you saw it on NetGalley already. 😉 I loved The Butterfly Project, but I love Emma Scott. Get ready for heart string pulls!

      1. Ahhhh, I’m already crying. Can you believe I read Full Tilt in January and still haven’t been able to open All In?! My heart is still in shreds. Jonah Fletcher… sigh.

        1. You need to read All In! Seriously. It will help with your Jonah Fletcher shreds. It was really well written and done. I loved it.

          1. I requested it today. It was also on Netgalley, so now is sitting on my kindle. I hope I’ll be able to squeeze it in May and heal part of my heart 🙂

    1. Hi, Laurel. If you’re thinking of starting to read Clayton’s books, look up “Wallbanger”. It was her debut novel, but in my opinion it’s her best one so far. Hilarious, romantics and unique.
      Happy reading 🙂

    2. So, I agree that Wallbanger was amazing. My favorite of hers is probably Cream of the Crop, though. It’s the book that comes before Buns. Buns is actually the third in the series. Nuts is the first. All are funny. I’d highly recommend them and Wallbanger. 🙂 Thanks for stopping by!

  2. Oooh! I’m jealous you got to read Buns! I love that series, and can’t wait for this book to come out! I hope you enjoyed it! 🙂

Thank you for stopping by my post.

  3. I’m so excited to read 180 Seconds after seeing how much you loved it! The cover of Butterfly Project has my attention…I hope you end up loving it!

    1. I knew it would be emotional, but I wasn’t expecting it to be what it was. I’m really interested to see what other people think.
I don’t know if The Butterfly Project is still on NetGalley, but it used to be. I love Emma Scott’s writing and I would recommend it. Same with her Full Tilt and All In novels.

  4. Yikes! Sorry to hear about getting your gallbladder removed – definitely wishing you a speedy recovery and I hope you’re feeling better!

Also, I saw that cover for “Buns” and I think I laughed for like 5 minutes straight. That’s classic. I think I HAVE to read that one!

I hope Aftercare Instructions is good – I have an ARC of that, too and I have to get to reading it!

    1. I am feeling much better. Thanks! 🙂 You should totally read Buns. But I think Cream of the Crop is even better. Seriously, look up Alice Clayton’s books and feast your eyes on the foody sexiness. (Is that even a thing?) Lol.

  5. There is nothing like turning a cloud into a silver lining which you managed to do with your op – that was a fantastic reading week! I hope you are now on the road to recovery?

    1. I am! Thank you! It was actually not a hard thing to recover from. Way better than having to deal with gallbladder attacks. Thanks for your concern! 🙂

    1. I am! I’m sad to give up all the reading time, though!
JP’s new book is on NetGalley, if you use it!
