I haven’t made much progress on After We Fell. I was listening to, but just got the e-book. Hopefully it will go faster now that I can read it. I’m not really loving it, so we’ll see…
I’m starting Checkmate: This is Love (Travis & Viola, #2) today. The first book ended in a cliffhanger, so I need to know what happens next!

I’m not sure I’m going to pick next. I have a bunch of KU books I’ve downloaded and some NetGalley ARCs I need to read.

I’m lowkey happy you’re suffering through the After series because now I have someone who understands the struggle I went through. ?? I wish I could say that it gets better but I would be lying.
If I couldn’t rant at you with almost every scene, I don’t think I would be able to continue. You have to have someone who feels your pain with this series! I appreciate you listening to my constant disbelief that things keep getting worse.

There was a Kennedy Fox book for free on Amazon last week, the first one in a series, so I grabbed it! I haven’t tried her books, but I keep hearing good things.
I think it’s this one. I thought it was good enough to keep reading the series. 😉
I struggle a bit more with audiobooks for the same reason. Since I’m not reading it and highlighting or making notes on it or able to flip back to X page to reread an important segment, I have to go slower and really pay attention and let it sink in. Congrats on getting through the ARCs. Mine have been a struggle and I am constantly falling behind this year though its my fault for requesting for so many books at the same time. Happy reading 🙂
