  1. I still haven’t read Outlander too. It’s been on my list for awhile. I think the amount of pages that there are is what is kind of making me keep putting it off, lol. The Unbecoming of Mara Dyer is also one of those books that I haven’t read yet and I’ve had it for so long. The Giver, amazing. The Knife of Never Letting Go, amazing. I just bought the Opportunist last month and I can’t wait to read it.

  2. I’ve had a few of these on my TBR list, too. Outlander, Mara Dyer, and Life of Pi have all been sitting there, even though I’ve owned them for ages. We should buddy read one of them!

    1. We totally should! Maybe Mara Dyer. I know I’d read that one over the other two! (Probably because I started those and didn’t make it very far. LOL)

    1. I know, I know. I downloaded all of the books in the series, so I need to just dive in. I need more time! 😉 I am probably going to call it quits with Outlander, too.

  3. I’ve borrowed The Knife of Never Letting Go from the library so many times now, I’ve actually lost track. But every time I borrow it, I never actually read it.

I had Outlander on my list, too. So many people included it on their lists, we should start an Outlander book club. Maybe we would all actually finish reading it!

  4. Daphne du Maurier is one of my favorite authors 🙂 I haven’t read Outlander either. I did read The Opportunist and it was really good along with book #2 (I didn’t finish the series… one of my book problems). Don’t be embarrassed, I’m sure we all have books listed from years ago.

  5. Outlander is one of my favorite books! The Giver is also excellent. I read The Knife and I think Patrick Ness is great (love A Monster Calls) but I wasn’t motivated to continue this series.

    1. That’s good to know. The only Ness book I’ve read is A Monster Calls, so maybe this series wouldn’t be for me either.

  6. I have read three books on your list: The Knife of Never Letting Go (it disappointed me… I expected a bit more, from all the hype, but I didn’t really love it :/), The Mara Dyer series (loved it so much) and The Giver, which was pretty great as well 😀 I hope you’ll get around to reading all of these books 🙂

    1. That’s awesome! Many people have said the same thing for that Ness book, so maybe I’ll read another one of his instead. 😉

  7. Oh I have a love/hate relationship with The Knife of Never Letting Go. The story is unique and captivating and I loved the voice through which the story is told. But it had a trigger for me. And I actually threw my kindle. And I have NEVER done that. Ever. But I read the rest of the trilogy and years later I still don’t know how I feel about it other than to say it’s a love/hate relationship lol. Hope you love it when you pick it up!
