WWW Wednesday: November 27, 2019

Welcome to WWW Wednesday!

WWW Wednesday is a meme hosted by Sam @ Taking on a World of Words. The purpose is to share what I’ve reading lately. The three W’s stand for:

What did you recently finish reading?
What are you currently reading?
What do you think you’ll read next?

Recently Read

This week I read an ARC of Enemies and Headstrong Like Us (Like Us, #6). Then I binge read the Kiss Me series.

Sadly, I had one DNF this week. I love Kristan Higgins’s other books, but Life and Other Inconveniences wasn’t for me. Emma drove me too insane to finish.

Currently Reading

I’m reading House of Scarlett (Legend Trilogy, #2)

I’m also listening to The How & the Why.

Reading Next

Next I’m planning to read The Lineup.

What are you reading? Make sure to leave me your link below so I can check out your post. 🙂

  1. I can’t wait to hear your thoughts on these! Sorry Higgins books didn’t work out for you. The only book I’ve read of hers has been The Nightingale, but I LOVED it, so I should read more.

    1. Oh! Higgins didn’t write The Nightingale — that’s Kristin Hannah. She is an amazing writer and you should read more of her stuff. Higgins started out in romance and has migrated to Women’s Fiction. I’m hoping it’s a one book flop.

  2. Meghan March is releasing books left and right! I can’t keep up, I haven’t even read White Knight and she’s already published another book in a new trilogy (and the second one is releasing in 10 days!). Can’t wait to see your review of Enemies, I’m so curious about that one. 🙂

  3. I think you made the right decision in DNF-ing that Kristan Higgins book. I know a lot of people love it, but if you weren’t enjoying it, I don’t really think anything that happens later in the book is a big enough pay off to make it worth it.

    1. Enemies started off slow for me, but I ended up liking it. It definitely has the same vibe as her others books.

I wasn’t a huge fan of the first Kiss Me book. I really liked the second one that you read. The third was good. I didn’t love it as much as the second, but I could have if something was changed a bit.
