Welcome to WWW Wednesday!
WWW Wednesday is a meme hosted by Sam @ Taking on a World of Words. The purpose is to share what I’ve reading lately. The three W’s stand for:
What did you recently finish reading?
What are you currently reading?
What do you think you’ll read next?
Recently Read
We’re in mid-December, the last month of the year, and I’m trying to get some of the books off my TBR read. This week I read Call Down the Hawk (Dreamer, #1)and The Lucky Heart (Jamison Valley, #3).
I also finished listening to Kicking and Dreaming: A Story of Heart, Soul, and Rock and Roll.
Currently Reading
I’m reading The Outpos (Jamison Valley, #4).
Reading Next
My plan is to keep reading the Jamison Valley series with The Bitterroot Inn (Jamison Valley, #5).
What are you reading? Make sure to leave me your link below so I can check out your post. 🙂
I managed to get a copy of Call Down the Hawk on Libby but with 20 people waiting on me reading it I decided just to not bother and returned it. How did you find it?
Okay. So my first impression was that I should just DNF it after like a chapter. I wasn’t in the mood, but I kept reading. It gets some of it’s magic back fairly quickly once you get to Ronan’s first chapter. I ended up liking it for the most part.
I’ve never read her books, but I love Devney Perry’s covers!
Really? I think you would like her writing. You could start anywhere, but you should read The Birthday List.
How did you like The Lucky Heart? I ended up DNFing because of the heroine a few months ago.
I did! I ended up liking it. I get why she would bug you. I thought I was going to have that problem with The Outpost, but I ended up liking that one, too. My two favorite are The Clover Chapel and The Bitterroot Inn. I am just starting The Candle Palace.
She couldn’t redeem herself with me. I hope the same thing doesn’t happen with The Outpost. I enjoyed The Candle Palace!
I think I liked The Outpost more than Felicity’s book.
That’s good to hear!
How did Call Down the Hawk work out for you? Did you enjoy it?
I did. It took a couple of chapters to get into. After that, it was good.
How was the Stiefvater one? I’m reading Hysteria from L.J. Ross today 🙂 x
It took me a bit to get into, but once I was in I liked it a lot. I hope you enjoy Hysteria.
What did you think of Call Down The Hawk? I’ve been really curious about that one. Have a wonderful week! xx
I liked it!
I’m hoping to start reading some more Devney Perry soon. I’m so behind!
