Welcome to WWW Wednesday!

WWW Wednesday is a meme hosted by Sam @ Taking on a World of Words. The purpose is to share what I’ve reading lately. The three W’s stand for:

What did you recently finish reading?
What are you currently reading?
What do you think you’ll read next?

Recently Read

Week #4/5 of our Stay at Home Order here in Washington State has me finally back in my reading groove. Thank goodness because it’s providing me with some much needed mental calm. No more ARCs on my ereader, so this week was all about mood reads. I read Pucks & Penalties: Pucked Series Deleted Scenes & Outtakes 2.0 (Pucked, #6.5), The Boy Next Door, Parental Guidance (Ice Knights, #1), Throw Like a Girl, You’d Be Mine, and Pike (The Pawn Duet, #1).

Currently Reading

I’m reading Bachelor Boss (The Bachelors Club, #2).

Reading Next

I’m taking the opportunity to read Beef Cake (Green Valley Chronicles, #19; Donnor Bakery, #4) since all of the SmartyPants Romances were put in KU.

What are you reading? Make sure to leave me your link below so I can check out your post. πŸ™‚

    1. I actually really liked it. Maybe even loved. It started out a little rocky, but quickly moved for me. I didn’t want it to end!
Have you read Erin Hahn’s You’d Be Mine? That book was so good!

        1. I don’t know if it still is, but her upcoming book was on NG. I think it might have been read now? Maybe not anymore.

  1. I finally feel like I’m starting to get into the reading groove again too. I am mostly just reading whatever I like rather than ARCs but I figure that at least I’m reading, one step at a time.

I’m certainly going a lot heavier on romances than usual so I may check out some of the books on your list. I do really need to read on a bit in the Pucked series.

    1. Yay! That’s awesome! One step at a time is the way to go!I love that you’re turning to romances. There are so many good ones that I’ve seen free lately.

    1. Yes, I did! Parental Guidance took me a bit to get into, but I did like it. I thought AWK-WEIRD, the second book, was better though. It’s on sale for $.99 right now — or it was.

  2. How did you like You’d Be Mine? I thought it was adorable πŸ˜€ And how is Bachelor Boss? I actually DNFed the first book πŸ™ˆ – I still miss my Douchebags.

    1. I LOVED IT!!!

So I had a hard time getting into the first book. Once I made it past all that douchery, I ended up really enjoying it. Might be worth giving it another chance depending how far you got in. She made him likable. As for this one, it’s cracking me up because they like each other but are doing EVERYTHING to annoy each other. It’s an office romance.

  4. Curious how you liked Throw Like a Girl and You’d Be Mine (two of my faves). I thought Parental Guidance was fun too. I am actually really enjoying the series, and eager for the next book.

  5. Hooray for all that reading you managed in the last week! That’s awesome. I have Parental Guidance and Awk-Weird sitting on my Kindle but have not got to either yet. They both look like a lot of fun, though.

    1. I did last week. This week hasn’t been shaping up that way…
I just put my review up this morning.

    1. It’s part of a series, but I read it without having read the rest (each is written by a different author).

  6. Lucky you for not having ARCs! I’m hoping to read enough ARCs so I can make May mostly ARC free… Unless I request new ones haha. I hope you are staying well and safe! xx

    1. Well, I requested about 4 after this. LOL. I’m trying to get them read now.
I’m safe and well. Hope you are too!

    1. Thank you! Yeah, it’s hard with the anxiety/mood. I had a couple days where I didn’t read much this week.
