Welcome to WWW Wednesday!

WWW Wednesday is a meme hosted by Sam @ Taking on a World of Words. The purpose is to share what I’ve reading lately. The three W’s stand for:

What did you recently finish reading?
What are you currently reading?
What do you think you’ll read next?

Recently Read

How’s everyone holding up at home? I’m doing pretty good. Taking lots of walks, cleaning, helping the kiddo with school, and (of course) reading. This week, I read ARCs of Beach Read and Sure Shot (Brooklyn, #4). I also did some mood reading with Cake (Cake, #1)Β and Fallen Crest Campout: A Fallen Crest/Crew Crossover Novella.

Currently Reading

I’m continuing on with the Cake series by reading The Theory of Second Best (Cake, #2).

Reading Next

Not 100% sure what is next, but it will probably be Fiercely Emma (Cake, #3).

What are you reading? Make sure to leave me your link below so I can check out your post. πŸ™‚

    1. It’s the third book in the Cake series. It’s about the first book guy’s (who was abducted by a serial killer as a teenager and now a rockstar) sister. It’s her romance and how the tragedy affected her.

    1. I ended up enjoying it after I got past thinking it was going to be more of a fun read.
I’m binging a series right now. It’s called Cake. That’s the name of the first book. You might like it. It’s KU.

    1. I am really enjoying it. It’s not perfect, but the story is compelling and you can’t help but love the characters. It’s totally binge worthy and I would recommend it. I’m onto the third book now.

    1. I ended up enjoying it, but I had to readjust my expectations. That cover and blurb…

    1. That cover of Beach Read… They totally marketed it wrong. It is not a happy beach read at all. It’s more like emotional women’s fiction

    1. It does look fun, right? Well, they totally miss marketed it. It’s actually more of an emotional women’s fiction read. I wasn’t prepared for that!

    1. Well, I hated it the first 15%. I was expecting it to be MUCH happier. I was not in the mood for the mood of it. I set it down for the night, came back with adjusted expectations and ended up liking it. They really messed up the marketing. It was like Meet Cute all over again.

    1. Warning — it looks like a cute, happy read. It’s more of an emotional read. If you’re ready for that, it will be better.

  1. I’m seeing Beach Read everywhere! I think that’s a sign I need to give it a try.
At the moment I’m doing a reread of Red, White and Royal Blue and I plan on starting From Blood & Ash by Jennifer L. Armentrout!

    1. Just a warning on Beach Read — don’t expect cute romance. Think emotional women’s fiction.
I still need to read RWRB. I want to!

    1. I’m really enjoying it. It’s one I would recommend. I should have a review up tomorrow, I’m thinking.

  2. I’ve seen Beach Read around quite a lot and I’m really interested in reading some reviews. Also, everyone is reading Sure Shot this week, I feel like I’ve missed something. I need to read some more Sarina Bowen.

    1. People really love the Brooklyn/Brooklyn Bruisers series, so it doesn’t surprise me that you’re seeing the excitement surrounding Sure Shot. I do highly recommend reading more of Bowen. I adore her books. I don’t think I’ve met one I didn’t like.
