WWW Wednesday: June 17, 2020

Welcome to WWW Wednesday!

WWW Wednesday is a meme hosted by Sam @ Taking on a World of Words. The purpose is to share what I’ve reading lately. The three W’s stand for:

What did you recently finish reading?
What are you currently reading?
What do you think you’ll read next?

Recently Read

This is my daughter’s last week of school. It’s bittersweet ending the year at home rather than saying goodbye to her friends for the summer in person. I have a feeling my reading will (hopefully) be dropping off after this week, and that we will get out to do some things together, if it’s safe to do so.

This week  I read Summer Fling and Crossing the Line (Hot Jocks, #4). Then I binged the Game On series with The Hook Up, The Friend Zone, The Game Plan, and The Hot Shot. I finished up the week with an ARC of Want You to Want Me (Want You, #2).

Currently Reading

I’m reading an ARC of In a Holidaze.

Reading Next

Next up is a new release, Faked.

What are you reading? Make sure to leave me your link below so I can check out your post. 🙂

  1. I really need to continue with the Game On series. I enjoyed the first one so much. I’ll be interested to see what you think of IN a Holidaze. I’ve been a little disappointed by the last two from Christina Lauren.

    1. Yeah, I get what you mean about the last 2 CL. I actually liked the last one, but the one before that was my least favorite of theirs probably.

    1. It’s a fun take on a holiday romance with a little bit of “Groundhog Day” added in.

  2. I’m very envious that you get to read In a Holidaze! My request on Netgalley was declined. But the same thing happened with The Honey-Don’t List and then I was invited to read it a few days before it was published, so maybe that will happen again. 😉 Happy Reading!

  3. It seems late for school to be letting out. Is it normally this late for you or because of COVID? What are you thinking of In a Holidaze? And have you started Faked yet? I’m almost done with it and have been enjoying it. I didn’t read the synopsis before starting it, though, and was thrown off at first because it was completely different than I was expecting.

    1. We don’t start here until the Wednesday after Labor Day. We were supposed to be out the 16th, but added on the rest of this week for COVID.

    1. You need to! It was so much fun! I wasn’t going to binge, but then couldn’t help myself when I got all my library holds in at once with them.

  4. Wow, you did get quite a lot of reading done. Holidaze sounds like a fun read.

Enjoy your time with your daughter. I can imagine how different it must feel for her going on break like this. I things will be much better by the time schools re-open <3

    1. We’ll see… my state is seeing an uptick in cases in parts right now, so it makes me concerned for the fall.
