Top Ten Tuesday: Favorite Covers for Upcoming Releases

Welcome to Top Ten Tuesday!

Top Ten Tuesday is an original weekly feature created by The Broke and the Bookish and is now hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl. This week’s topic is:

Cover Freebie

I’m going with:

Favorite Covers for Upcoming Releases

Here are some covers I love. Not all of these are books I plan to read, but these are cool.

There’s something about the cat that makes me smile.

I like the colors used and the simplicity.

I’m not big on illustrated covers in romance, but this is one that I can get behind because it fits the story so well.

It’s just so freaking cute and YA perfection!

I love the creepy feel of this covers for McManus’ upcoming thriller.

I just want to be on that beach enjoying that sunset.

There’s something about this cover that’s both relaxing to the eye and slightly thrilling to the mind.

I love the contrast of the pretty, white dress and the dark background. I also like the fact that it’s the woman from behind. It just works for me. Makes me want to read it.

The simplicity of this cover and the old school feel fits the emotions I know DeBartolo can invoke. It makes me curious and it’s cute.

ADORABLE. That’s it.

    1. UGH. The smoke is so gross! We haven’t had clear skies in a week. You can see (and taste) it in the air. We even had yellow air the other day. I wouldn’t recommend it. I’ve been okay since I’ve been mostly inside. The Sumner Grade Fire in Bonney Lake was close to us as well as a big brush fire on 167, so that was too close to home for me. I’m really hoping the smoke moves out Thursday like they’re saying it might. I want to get back outside. Thanks for thinking of me!
      How are you doing?

  1. Ooh yes so many great covers and I’m so excited for quite a few of these releases too! Spoiler Alert looks and sounds so good, as does Yoon’s book! Also always love the Bromance book covers 😍

  2. I’ve heard a lot of people complaining about the people-from-behind trend on book covers, but I actually like them. Yes, they all start to look the same after awhile. Still, they work for me. I prefer realistic covers to illustrated ones, but I prefer not to see people’s faces on covers since that influences how I “see” characters in my imagination, which I don’t like. Anyway, yes, I agree that the cover for THE GARDEN OF PROMISES AND LIES is gorgeous!

    Happy TTT!

  3. We are fine, waiting for the hurricane to pick up speed so we can get all the rain and wind we are supposed to get here in NC over with! Please stay safe and inside! I’ve been worried about you πŸ™‹β€β™€οΈπŸ’œ

    1. Thanks for thinking of me. I forgot you were in NC. I need to remember that. I keep thinking AZ. I hope you avoid most of the wind and rain. There’s way too many storms in that gulf.

    1. Thanks! I am trying to think if I would recommend DeBartolo’s books to you. They’re a little on the darker side. You might like them.

  4. Oh! Love these covers. I’ve seen Crazy Stupid Bromance around the blogosphere. Sounds good. The Cousins also sounds wonderful.

Thanks for sharing and for visiting my blog.

  5. Mistletoe in Paradise also has me missing the beach. It has been almost 2 years since I went to the beach. Lovely cover choices. The Karen MCManus one is so mysterious.

    1. I know, right? That is what it made me feel, too. I went this summer (we live not too far), but still. I want a tropical beach. Ours here are not warm.

    1. They have the ones here close to containment. It’s the OR fires that are sending most of the smoke now. πŸ™
      Thank you!

  6. Great choices! I love the cover and am really looking forward to In a Holidaze, although I’m not even thinking about touching until at least the end of November… I can’t believe how this year has flown!

  7. I have to say that there are quite a few covers on your list that have me excited as well. I am reading In a Holidaze soon and I am really excited to get into some Christmas reading. Hopefully I will still feel that way in December. lol

  8. Ooh, these are so cute–other than The Cousins, of course! That one is definitely creepy. I can’t wait to read it as well. πŸ™‚

  9. I love the covers you chose! The one for Crazy Stupid Bromance is seriously so damn cute haha. I’d buy it just for the cover. Although, I do need to read the second book in that series and if I end up liking it, I’d probably want to buy this one too.
