Welcome to Top Ten Tuesday!
Top Ten Tuesday is an original weekly feature created by The Broke and the Bookish and is now hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl. This week’s topic is:
Book Titles That Would Make Great Song Titles
I submitted this topic… I had forgotten that! Hahaha! I think I had some great ideas when I thought of it, but they must have all disappeared. Anyways. I am adding the word COUNTRY to this topic because I think these would make great country songs.
1. Super Fake Love Song
I’m imagining a female, teen country start singing about a love that turned out to be fake or something along those lines.
2. The Wreckage of Us
Paging Taylor Swift…but maybe only because she has a song with a similar title. She’d have to go back to country, though.
3. Hard Pass
I can picture either a male or female artist signing about taking a hard pass on someone, like an ex or something.
4. Chicks, Man
Some deep, male, twangy country voice could do a great song with this one. I’m imaging it to be slow like Drunk on a Plane.
5. Not My Romeo
So many, many possibilities with this one!!!
6. Mister Tonight
Can’t you envision a woman singing about her “mister tonight”?
7. One Big Mistake
This could be either male or female.
8. Wherever You Are
This would be a sweet song about being in love.
9. Cowboy Villain Damsel Duel
It would have to involve a big story, something about drinking would probably be involved.
10. The Clover Chapel
Another love song. Maybe about getting married in a clover chapel or something.
I love this topic! And I think all your picks are perfect!
I’ll have to come back and do this one after my hiatus is over!
Thank you! Yes, do it!!! When are you coming back? I miss you…
I have a review for the Cindi Madsen book scheduled for Monday and I was going to come back then. But I might just take the rest of the month after that. I haven’t decided yet. I haven’t read anything at all, so I don’t have much to post about. 🤷🏻♀️
YAY! Well, maybe just play it by ear and post when you feel like it? Maybe you will get some reading mojo back.
I giggled at Super Fake Love Song. Great pick there.
My post.
Thank you!
I LOVED the topic this week, so thank you for suggesting it! 😉 And I could definitely see all of these titles as country songs. Wherever You Are would make such a swoon-worthy ballad.
Aw! Thanks! The band name one inspired me.
Oooh I love these picks and they make me want to go listen to my country faves playlist now, hahah! I especially like No. 9, that sounds so intriguing. No.1 sounds so cool (I really want to read that book!) and No.5 kind of reminds me of early era Taylor Swift for some reason. Great post!
Thank you!
Chicks, Man definitely sounds like a country song! LOL!
Thanks! I think it would be fun!
Super Fake Love Song would be a great song!
I think so, too!
I love how this was your week and you didn’t even remember!! And yes, these would all make great country songs 🙂 Happy TTT!
Here’s my post: https://www.nbiblioholic.com/2020/11/ten-book-titles-that-would-make-great.html
I know, right? I should have written the post when I was originally thinking of it!
Super Fake Love Song- that one’s awesome! #9 is hilarious!
LOL I’m glad you agree!
Yeeees! All of these would make perfect country song titles! Hard Pass, Chicks, Man, Not My Romeo and Mister Tonight sound like fun songs! 😀
Thanks! 🙂
Great list! I think these would definitely make great country song titles.
Thank you!
I’d listen to all of these songs! Especially The Wreckage of Us. 😀
I love hearing that!
I can hear that emo band singing Super Fake Love Song (Emo forever!) And some sassy girl band singing Not My Romeo
LOL! Emo forever!
This is such a fun topic you submitted! I had trouble with it, though. My mind totally blanked, so I had to go rogue this week and do a different topic. I like your twist on the prompt. Country songs have great stories and titles!
Happy TTT!

Thank you! I love hearing that!
This is a great list. I especially like Chicks, Man.
Thanks! That is such a fun title!
I have to say, I adore the cover for One Big Mistake. So stinkin’ cute!
The book was really cute, too. Might be worth a read if you like romance…
These are great! My favorites would be Not My Romeo and Super Fake Love Song — someone really should make songs with those titles!
I think so, too! Thanks!
I don’t listen to much country music but I’ve heard enough to know these are fantastic choices! I especially love Chicks, Man.
🙂 Thanks! I just listen to it occasionally, but these titles just felt country to me. I like country more the older I get.
Oh, I totally had, “I love you like a love song” pop into my head. Super Fake Love Song is a great one!!
Ooo! That would be great if Selena or someone like her did it like that!
So many fun choices! I thought of George Strait singing Mister Tonight though. I guess I’ve listened to The Fireman and Overnight Male too many times.
LOL. I love it!
Such a fun topic and list! What a great idea! There are so many books that put songs in my head when I read the titles. The Wreckage of Us does sound like a perfect Taylor Swift song. She is probably bookmarking it right now. 😉
Thank you! I’m sure she is. LOL
Great picks! xx
Thanks!
Great selection!! I would definitely listen to these as songs. I especially like The Wreckage of Us and Wherever You Are! 🙂 Great TTT! Hope you have a wonderful week.
Thank you! Have a great week!
Oh, well dubbed! Country music is what they all bring to mind, esp. Cowboy Villain Damsel Duel, Not my Romeo, and yes, Super Fake Love Song.
Thanks!
all these would fit right into country music. i can hear some crooners now. great list!!
Thank you!
Thank you for suggesting this topic! All of these titles would make great country songs. My favourite is Super Fake Love Song! 😃
Aw, thanks!
I love your explanations for these! Super Fake Love Song practically writes itself.
Doesn’t it? Thanks!
I had to laugh at Chicks, Man. I can so see that being a country song. 🙂
Right? Someone needs to get on that!
Great choices, I could see all of these as country songs! I can already imagine Super Fake Love Song or The Wreckage of Us.
Thank you! I’m glad you found a couple you can picture.
What great choices! These would all make wonderful country songs. Chicks, Man made me giggle, though. I definitely want to hear that song!
It would be a fun one!
OMG such a great selection! I’d love that playlist!
Thank you!
