WWW Wednesday: November 25, 2020

WWW Wednesday is hosted by Taking on a World of Words.

Happy Thanksgiving to all of you who are celebrating tomorrow! I will be celebrating at home with my immediate family. No big gatherings like usual with my extended family here, but that’s okay. I’m still going to enjoy spending time with my family and sharing some good grub (even if I’m cooking it all myself this year).

WHAT DID YOU RECENTLY FINISH READING?

I read an ARC of Layla by Colleen Hoover. It was…different.

WHAT ARE YOU CURRENTLY READING?

I’m reading an ARC of Best Friends Don’t Kiss by Max Monroe. It’s making me laugh.

WHAT DO YOU THINK YOU’LL READ NEXT?

My plan is to read ARC of The Not-Outcast by Tijan. I’ve been looking forward to this one.

  1. I am eyeing that sports book at the end. I am always looking for more sports romances to read. I hope you have a good time cooking and eating, and HAPPY THANKSGIVING!

    1. Really? If you’re eyeing that one start with The Assist by Rebecca Jenshak. (It’s KU, if you use that.) The entire series is really good! I would highly recommend if you like college sports romances. There are 4 books before this one.

    1. I don’t even know how to describe it. It was good and kept my attention. It was a paranormal romance (which I don’t normally read) and almost felt like a thriller as I was reading it. It was more intense than I was expecting.

  2. Oooh how is the Tijan book? I was planning on taking advantage of this KU deal I kept seeing advertised on Facebook – 2 months for $0.99 – so I could read it when it comes out, but apparently the deal is only for new members because every time I follow the link there’s no deal. So I don’t know when I’ll get to it. Because I’m very cheap haha.

I hope you and your family have a great Thanksgiving!

    1. I wonder if there will be a black Friday KU deal? I kept seeing that same FB deal. Grrr. I am just starting it now. Hoping it’s good!

Happy Thanksgiving to you and yours as well!

        1. You might surprise yourself. You should look at what books are available through KU. There are thrillers, etc. I think I figured out with the deal, if I read at least a book or two a month it paid for itself. All of Karla Sorensen’s books are on there, so that would be maybe 7 you haven’t read yet, plus the Tijan books. So it might end up being more worth it than you realize.

  3. I’ve been hearing great things about The Not-Outcast so I hope you’re loving it. Then again, you probably are because… Tijan 🙂 Max Monroe books are hilarious and the cover for The Pass is HOT!! Happy reading!

    1. Oh really? I am so excited to start it! This Max Monroe book was so cute and hilarious. It was a great holiday romance. Thanks! Happy reading to you, too!

    1. I think if you liked Verity, you will most likely like this one. It has a similar vibe in a way.
      Happy Thanksgiving!

      1. Being Canadian, we celebrated back in October, but I always try and celebrate thankfulness again for US Thanksgiving. My DIL works in the US, so she gets the day off and we had a family dinner which was wonderful.
