WWW Wednesday: January 13, 2021

WWW Wednesday is hosted by Taking on a World of Words.

The last book I read was The Off-Limits Rule by Sarah Adams. She’s one of my favorite new-to-me authors of 2020.

Yesterday I posted a TTT list of books in the depths of my Kindle I plan on reading this year. I’m happy to report I’m already starting knocking books off that list by starting A Charmed Little Lie (Charmed in Texas, #1) by Sharla Lovelace.

I have been mostly reading happy contemporaries, so I think I’m going to branch out and read something darker with Killing Sarai (In the Company of Killers, #1) by J.A. Redmerski. It’s another one of the books I had on yesterday’s TTT.

    1. I don’t know much about it myself. I read another book by this author and really enjoyed it, though!

  1. I always feel good when I knock some of those older books off my TBR. I love the cover on A Charmed Little Lie. I hope you enjoyed it.

  2. Ok, now I have to check out The Off Limits Rule. I noticed it, obviously because of the cover, but you have me curious with Adams winning a place on your fave new-to-me list.

    1. I love her books. The Match was so good and then I also enjoyed The Enemy. I knew I was in for a good time going into this one. I hope you enjoy her writing as much as I do.

      1. I’m not sure. I did finally finish the first Bridgerton book and enjoyed it. It’s Historical Romance, which is something I don’t usually read. Now that it’s over though, I’m not sure what to read next. 🤷‍♀️

        1. If you want a thriller type, you could try the series I’m reading now. It’s REALLY dark and violent, but the twists are good. The first book is Killing Sarai. It’s KU.

  3. Oooh – The Off Limits Rule looks super cute! I am a sucker for this new style of cover with the bold colors and the illustrated people.
