    1. It’s a good one from Zapata. New favorite. I would recommend Scott and Quinn’s books, too.

  1. Fun twist on the topic! I give out 5 stars so sparingly that I would have to go back a couple years (literally) to reach ten 5 star reads. LOL

  2. I remember Rush being super intense (as Emma Scott’s books are), and I like Talk Hockey to Me too. If it’s the final book, I am happy with that ending.

    1. Funny thing is that I think it was less intense than most of the books I’ve read by her.

  3. Five-star reads was a great idea! I’ve only read the first Bridgerton but I’m excited to pick up more of them. I can’t believe they’d managed to miss my radar all these years. 🙂

  4. Glad to see you have had some enjoyable reads of late. I haven’t had many 5-star reads this years. Fingers crossed that things will start changing.

    1. I think it’s because I’ve widened my reading to include a lot of older books.

  5. I’ve given out several 4 and 4.5 stars. but only two 5 stars so far this year. I’m feeling picky and discouraged. I haven’t read any of these though. Maybe I’ll have better luck.

    1. It helps that I’ve been mood reading and picking authors I know I will love.
