Top Ten Tuesday: You’ll Find Me in the Forest

Welcome to Top Ten Tuesday!

Top Ten Tuesday is an original weekly feature created by The Broke and the Bookish and is now hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl. This week’s topic is supposed to be Books with Nature on the Cover. I feel like we’ve done a lot of cover related posts this year, so I wanted to include books with nature on the inside. My post this week will be:

You’ll Find Me in the Forest

All of these books include a forest setting.

  1. Wow! You get lots of time out in the woods. LOL. The Simple Wild books really feature a lot of nature. I loved that part of those books.

  2. I thought I commented, but then this was back in my feed. I don’t know. Either way, love that you focused on the forest. The Simple Wild books really played up the beauty, wonder, and danger of that environment.

  3. I grew up in Washington State, so I can appreciate a great forest. Yes, please! A lot of the books I read are mysteries/thrillers, so they feature dark, scary forests, but I actually find forests peaceful and lovely. Great twist on the topic.

    Happy TTT!

    1. Yes, there is a certain beauty to a forest. Thrillers do have a lot of creepy forests in them! Thanks!

    1. It was cute. I am actually the opposite. I’m already tired of the illustrated covers. They’re all starting to look alike to me.

  4. Lovely covers, Deanna. My favourite is “Sorrow” and the funniest one (for me) “The House in the Cerulean Sea”. And since I chose trees for my TTT, I absolute love the forest idea.

    Thanks for visiting me earlier.

  5. It does seem like we’ve had a lot of TTT Cover features lately, doesn’t it?? I like your twist! The Simple Wild series continues to hold a top spot in my list of favorites. 😉 The Great Alone and The House on the Cerulean Sea are both on my tbr. Great list!
